Early Years Network - East and West Midlands

A group for those who lead on Early Years provision in the East and West Midlands government regions. A group of up to 50 colleagues from local authorities and relevant sector skills bodies and other organisations meet in Birmingham four times per year.

Meetings include national keynote inputs on selected priority themes, updates and news exchange about emerging practice from around the regions, collaborative developments between local areas and some specific working groups.

Currently, working groups are convened to learn and work together on policy developments relating to:

• Quality Improvment in early years provision
• Recruitment and Retention
• Training and Development of the early years workforce
